How it works
Every YouTube video has the same set of thumbnail sizes stored by YouTube. Paste a link and the tool shows all of them, from full HD (1280×720, when the creator uploaded one) down to 120×90, with a download button for each.
It works with normal video links, youtu.be short links, Shorts and live streams.

How do I download a YouTube thumbnail?
Copy the video's link, paste it into the box above and click the download button under the size you want. Full HD is the best quality when the video has it.
Why is the full HD size missing for some videos?
YouTube only has a 1280×720 version when the creator uploaded a large custom thumbnail. Older or automatic thumbnails stop at 640×480 or 480×360.
Does it work with Shorts?
Yes. Paste the Shorts link; Shorts thumbnails come in the same sizes.
Can I use the thumbnail in my own video?
Only with the creator's permission. Thumbnails are the creator's work; using them for reference or research is fine, republishing them as your own isn't.
